Tenille Townes Unwraps Heart of the Holidays
New EP Brings Tenille’s Signature Warmth to the Season
(Nashville, TN – November 21, 2025) – Award winning singer songwriter Tenille Townes celebrates the season with the release of her new holiday EP, Heart of the Holidays, out today. The three-song collection features her new original title track along with heartfelt interpretations of the classics “Auld Lang Syne” and “Go Tell It on the Mountain.”
Heart of the Holidays invites listeners into a spirited world shaped by Tenille’s gentle vocals and jazz inflected country style. The original title track glows with hope and nostalgia, capturing the joy of gathering together and creating new memories. Her rendition of “Auld Lang Syne” offers a quiet moment of reflection, inspired in part by the emotional piano introduction she first heard from her co-producer Andy Skib. With help from special guest vocalists Caylee Hammack and Fancy Hagood, Tenille brings a rich, soulful energy to “Go Tell It on the Mountain,” honoring tradition while adding her own contemporary touch.
“I wanted this project to feel like a warm embrace,” Tenille says. “Hope and connection matter so much, and I wanted that to come through in these songs. I loved leaning into the soulful, jazzy side of Christmas music working on this project and having my friends Caylee Hammack and Fancy Hagood join me was such a gift.”
Speaking on the classics, she adds, “There’s something timeless in songs like “Auld Lang Syne.” When we recorded it, it felt like we were picking up a thread that has been passed down for generations.”
Tenille will bring the intimate spirit of the season to fans on The Living Room Tour, beginning this spring – and two special performances with the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra (April 23 & 25, 2026).
