SWAGGER RITE GIVES AUDIENCES A TASTE OF THE CARRIBEAN SERVING UP AN OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO FOR “SPICY” OFF HIS RECENTLY RELEASED EP “DETOUR” WATCH HERE

(Toronto, ON – April 27, 2021) – Today, Swagger Rite drops a Sheronna Osbourne directed official music video for the for the melodic reggae-influenced track “Spicy,”- WATCH HERE. The Wray and Nephew Rum sponsored video is stacked with high energy surroundings infused with romantic, yet playful visuals set at a house party in Toronto.

The official music video serves as a full circle piece stemming from Swagger’s established choreography background. “We wanted to create a vibe for when the world opens up again. We have so much to celebrate. We did this one as an ode to the greatest time, when the city danced. When we didn’t have an option to get out the hood but dance” said Swagger Rite. The video features notable dancer Deshan Lewis known for Sean Paul’s “Get Busy”. In the past Swagger Rite can be found dancing in massively popular music videos such as Rhianna’s Pon De Replay and multitudes of music videos with noteworthy names including Director X.

“Spicy” comes off from the recently released EP Detour. Swagger Rite aimed to create an EP to reflect the diversity of his musical taste. Of the EP he says, “I don’t want people to press play on my project with pre-conceived expectations of what I should sound like. I listen to all sorts of music, and I can make all sorts of music, and I want my fans to come along on this journey with me.”
