SACHA AND RESTLESS ROAD TO DEBUT “SHOOTING STAR” LIVE AT CCMA AWARDS SEPTEMBER 13

(July 16, 2025) – Capturing the creative spark behind their infectious collaboration “Shooting Star,” breakout Country artists Sacha and Restless Road shine in the song’s official music video out now.  Watch here.

Directed by Pedja Balkanada and filmed at Orange Lounge Studios, the playful behind-the-scenes clip captures the magnetic energy between the rising star and emerging trio (Zach Beeken, Garrett Nichols, Colton Pack) in the studio. Produced by Jimmy Robbins (Blake Shelton, Maren Morris, Keith Urban) and Eric Arjes (Tim McGraw, Kane Brown, blackbear), “Shooting Star” is all about a love that burned bright but ended too soon – and the hope it could one day return. Sacha and Restless Road wrote the song alongside Cole Miracle (Eddie and The Getaway, Wyatt Flores), and Sam Martinez (Carrie Underwood, Tyler Braden).

Adding to the excitement, Sacha and Restless Road will give the debut live performance of “Shooting Star” at the 2025 Canadian Country Music Awards on September 13. Tune in at 8 P.M. ET on CTV, and stream on CTV.ca and the CTV app.

The music video comes hot on the heels of Sacha’s deluxe edition of her critically acclaimed album Woman In The Mirror. With three additional songs to her debut album’s original track list, Woman In The Mirror (Deluxe) features two reimagined versions of her empowering international hit “Hey Mom I Made It,” plus “Shooting Star.” Other fan favorites include the shattering “Til I Don’t,” “High Life,” “Woman In The Mirror,” and “Nice Girl,” as Sacha follows up her breakthrough PLATINUM hit “What the Truck” (with The Recklaws). Stream or download Sacha’s Woman In The Mirror (Deluxe) here.

ABOUT SACHA:
A trailblazer in Country music, Sacha blends heartfelt storytelling with an infectious energy that captivates audiences. Since releasing her debut EP The Best Thing, she has quickly risen as one of the genre’s most exciting new voices. Named iHeartRadio’s “Future Star” and a member of CMT’s prestigious Next Women of Country Class, Sacha has achieved numerous milestones in her burgeoning career.

Sacha’s breakthrough hit “What the Truck,” with The Reklaws, became the fastest Canadian Country song to achieve PLATINUM status in the streaming era. The viral sensation earned Sacha a CCMA Award for Top Selling Canadian Single, the same year she won SiriusXM’s Top of The Country contest and toured the U.S. with Maddie & Tae.

Sacha continued to build momentum by singing the Canadian national anthem at the NHL All-Star Game and performing at major events like the UK’s Long Road Festival.

Last fall, she hit the road opening for the likes of Tenille Townes and then Owen Riegling, further cementing her place as a must-see performer in Country music. She is a frequenter of all the major red carpets from the CMAs, CMT Awards, and CCMAs.

On May 30, 2025, Sacha released her debut full-length album Woman In The Mirror, a bold and introspective collection that highlights her growth as both a songwriter and storyteller. The album includes Sacha’s hit single, “Hey Mom I Made It,” a heartfelt anthem that has garnered over 8 million combined streams globally and climbed into the Top 10 on the Canadian Country radio chart.

This summer, Sacha will be performing at some of this year’s biggest Country music festivals, including CMA Fest in Nashville, Boots & Hearts, LASSO, Cavendish and more!
