LONDON GRAMMAR ANNOUNCE TWO NEW NORTH AMERICAN TOUR DATES FOR AUGUST

British trio London Grammar have announced two headlining shows to take place this summer. The band will perform in Brooklyn, NY on August 1 at Brooklyn Steel and Toronto on August 3 at Danforth Music Hall – see list of tour dates below. Fans can get special advance access to tickets by pre-ordering the band’s new album Truth Is A Beautiful Thing via www.londongrammarshop.com before tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday June 9. Pre-sale offer ends June 8 at 10 p.m. ET.

The trio have also unveiled brand new track “Hell To The Liars,” taken from Truth Is A Beautiful Thing, out this Friday, June 9 via Columbia Records. Premiering on Apple Music’s Beats 1, “Hell To The Liars” is available now across all platforms and when fans pre-order the album HERE. Watch the live video for the track HERE.
“Hell To The Liars” was produced by London Grammar and Paul Epworth and is the fifth track to be revealed from the album, following the recent release of single “Oh Woman Oh Man.” “Oh Woman Oh Man” was recently given new life thanks to a remix EP featuring club reworks from dance music masters Tiga, DC Breaks and MK. Listen to the MK Remix HERE.

On Friday, London Grammar shared they’d teamed up with iconic British director, Tony Kaye (American History X), and revealed two visuals for “Oh Woman Oh Man,” starring award winning actor Tye Sheridan. “’Oh Woman Oh Man’ mirrors the question of identity, and to what extent gender plays a role in it. We were lucky enough to work with the legendary Tony Kaye on this video, who handled these themes and questions with passion and sensitivity,” says Hannah Reid of London Grammar. Alternate videos reflect these themes. Watch “Oh Woman” HERE and “Oh Man” HERE.

In addition to Epworth, the band’s forthcoming LP Truth Is A Beautiful Thing features production from Mercury nominated Jon Hopkins (Coldplay, Brian Eno, King Creosote) and Greg Kurstin (Adele, Sia, Beck) as well as Tim Bran and Roy Kerr, who also worked on the band’s debut, If You Wait. All album pre-orders include “Hell To The Liars,” as well as previous releases “Oh Woman Oh Man,” “Truth Is A Beautiful Thing,” “Rooting For You” and “Big Picture.” Standard and deluxe versions of the album will be available digitally. The album will also be available on vinyl. See full track lists below.
Winning a prestigious Ivor Novello Award for “Strong,” two AIM Independent Music awards (Independent Breakthrough of The Year; PPL Award For Most Played New Independent Act) and receiving a Brit Award nomination (British Breakthrough Act), London Grammar’s debut album, If You Wait has sold almost two million copies internationally.
