With this feat, he became the first male country in more than 24 years to top the U.S. Billboard 200 chart with a sophomore release. Experiment media raves include the following.

New York Times
#10 Best Album of 2018
“Sturdy songs about love. Sturdy songs about lust. Sturdy songs about faithfulness. Sturdy songs about growing up country. And one sturdy song about how political hypocrisy and its repercussions can drown out all of those things.”

Rolling Stone
“One of the most highly anticipated country albums of the year, Kane Brown’s second offering dug deeper into the radio-friendly mix of trad country, swaggering pop and limber R&B that has made Brown one of the genre’s most successful new stars…(Brown) shows that he’s capable of handling tricky territory with care, craft and depth.”

Billboard
“With his new album, Experiment, Brown is about to become inescapable, arguably changing the future of Country forever.”

About Kane Brown:
Kane Brown welcomed his sophomore album Experiment by debuting at No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard 200 and Top Country Albums charts. He was one of only three artists to top the all-genre chart in 2018.  Brown’s #1 U.S./Canadian airplay smash, the Gold-certified lead single “Lose It,” also topped the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, dethroning Bebe Rexha and Florida Georgia Line’s “Meant To Be” historical 50-week #1 run. In addition to the singer/songwriter’s gigantic hits, multi-Platinum RIAA certifications, more than two billion career streams, multiple award wins, and sold-out headlining concerts, he’s been singled out by the New York Times as “one of Nashville’s most promising young stars and also one of its most flexible”; Forbes, which dubbed him “country music’s new titan”; and Time, as “one of the 31 people changing the South.” After topping the Billboard Top Country Albums chart with his debut album Kane Brown in 2016, Brown topped the chart again with Kane Brown Deluxe Edition, which also debuted Top 5 on the Billboard 200. That same week in October 2017, the 25-year-old made history by becoming the first artist to top all five Billboard country charts  with his #1 Top Country Album; a #1 debuting Country Digital Song, the Triple-Platinum “Heaven”; and #1 Country Airplay, Hot Country Song, and Country Streaming Song with the Quadruple-Platinum (2x Platinum in Canada) “What Ifs.” In addition to making Billboard history, the outstanding accomplishment also garnered a Guinness World Record. And the records and honors keep adding up: Brown’s debut album achieved 10 weeks at #1 in 2018 and a total of 12 weeks on chart summit since its 2016 release; his 18-week streaming #1 “Heaven” became one of only two singles in the past decade to remain in the Top 5 for 14 weeks or more on the Billboard Country Airplay chart; and “What Ifs” featuring Lauren Alaina became the third most-streamed county song of all time. Brown continued his hot streak by winning three 2018 American Music Awards: Favorite Male Artist – Country, Favorite Album – Country for his self-titled debut release, and Favorite Song – Country for “Heaven.” He made AMA history as the country artist with the most wins in one year as a first-time nominee. Since making his national debut on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2016, Brown has appeared on the American Music Awards, ACM Awards, CMT Awards, Latin Grammys, The Today Show, Good Morning America, Live with Kelly and Ryan, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Late Night with Seth Meyers, Nightline, The Voice and was recently featured by The New York Times, USA Today, Associated Press, Billboard, Rolling Stone, Time Magazine, The Tennessean, Variety, People Magazine, Essence, Stereogum, Vogue, and more. Brown is set to hit the road on his LIVE FOREVER Tour, starting January 2019. For more information, including a list of tour dates, visit kanebrownmusic.com.
