Multiplatinum history-making global force of nature, entrepreneur, television and film star, bestselling author, and philanthropist JoJo Siwa has taken the internet by storm leading into the release of her brand new single and music video, Karma, which is out today as her official debut for Columbia Records. Reminiscent of early 2010s pop and serving as a 180° turn from previous JoJo music, the single kickstarts an unfiltered, undeniable, and unrestrained phase for the record-breaking star.

“I am so stoked because this has been such a long time coming and so much work getting to this point,” says JoJo. “For ‘Karma’ to finally be here and finally be in the world’s hands is incredible. WE DID IT. It hasn’t been easy, it’s been hard as sh*t, and the criticism has been real, but we did it, and I am just so happy, so proud and so ready for the world to enjoy the show.”

Quite fittingly, JoJo doesn’t hold back at all on “Karma, which was produced by Rock Mafia and hit the Billboard chart before it was even released. Powered up by bold production, cinematic strings, and dancefloor-ready keys, it illuminates her evolution. Right out of the gate, she makes a confession, “I was a bad girl. I did some bad things. I swear I did it all for fun, and it meant nothing, going on to gleefully warn, “Karma’s a bitch. I should’ve known better.

“There are a lot of stories in my life you could match the song to,” she adds. “It doesn’t mean just one thing, which makes it special. I will say this though…At some point, everybody has a moment of being the bad one. I’m not afraid of being bad anymore,” she laughs.

JoJo co-produced the statement-making video and co-directed alongside Marc Klasfeld. Created to JoJo’s exact vision, it explodes with jaw-dropping choreography (created by Richy Jackson), wild visual effects, and future-facing style, popping off as an event-level visual.

JoJo took over West Hollywood last night to celebrate the release and made surprise pop-ins at Beaches and Rocco’s before hosting her own celebration with friends at Heart WeHo.

“Karma” is just the beginning. Stay tuned for more music from JoJo Siwa very soon.
