NEW DATES ANNOUNCED IN JACKSON, SALT LAKE CITY, LAS VEGAS AND LOS ANGELES

(Los Angeles, CA) Coinciding with the kickoff of their new tour, Jimmy Eat World have released two new songs – “Love Never” and “half heart” – listen here and check out the visual interpretations from the band here and here.  Limited edition 7” vinyl can be purchased directly from the band here, and at their upcoming tour dates.

Recorded at the band’s Arizona Unit 2 studio, both tracks were co-produced by Jimmy Eat World and Grammy award-winning producer Justin Meldal-Johnsen. The new songs are the band’s first new material since 2016’s critically acclaimed ‘Integrity Blues’. The new tracks highlight the ever-dynamic Jimmy Eat World range that has made the likes of “The Middle,” “Sweetness,” “Work,” “Big Casino,” “Coffee and Cigarettes” and “Lucky Denver Mint” so infectious and enduring: “Love Never” a gloriously direct, adrenaline-charged rush, aimed at both head and heart alike, followed by “half heart” an emotionally charged counterpoint.

Four new headline dates have been added to Jimmy Eat World’s North American Itinerary.  The tour begins today at Shaky Knees Festival in Atlanta, GA followed by a sold out show at Bogart’s in Cincinnati on Saturday, May 5^th, and includes stops in Montebello, QC and Edmonton, AB. From there another ten US cities in May including stops at Chicago’s Riviera Theater, Minneapolis’ First Avenue and Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium, among others.  After a whirlwind trek around Europe in late May and early June, the tour returns to the US with more dates through the summer, finishing with the four newly added shows in Jackson, Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles in September.

Tickets for the four newly added shows go on sale to the public Friday, May 11^th at 10am local time.
