Jacob Sartorius Plays Wedding Singer in Sweet ‘Up With It’ Video: Premiere

Jacob Sartorius can make teens and tweens swoon no matter what he does, but his latest video may take the (wedding) cake.

The singer suits up to serve as a wedding singer in the video for “Up With It,” a new-age doo-wop love song that’s a personal to Sartorius. While the 15-year-old may still be a little young for marriage himself, he certainly knows what love is – and his latest song is proof.

“‘Up With It’ is basically about wearing your feelings on your sleeve and not being ashamed to tell that special someone how they make you feel,” Sartorius tells Billboard. “We wrote this song a while back — I was really in my feelings about a certain girl and I just didn’t care about telling her exactly how I felt.”

Though the entire song is a sweet salute to a significant other, Sartorius particularly points out the line, “I’m not afraid to say I’m feeling some type of way my heart’s dripping over my feet.” He adds, “I felt like those lyrics were just me coming out and being vulnerable with my feelings.”

Along with being heartfelt in his music, Sartorius has recently partnered with bullying prevention organization Be Strong and participated in the Los Angeles March For Our Lives rally. “Up With It” follows his 2017 releases like “Cozy” and Blackbear-featuring “Hit Me Back.”
