[September 4, 2025] Today, ATL-based Grammy-nominated Queen of the Souf rapper Latto connects with Grammy-nominated Princess of New York rapper Ice Spice to surprise drop new single “Gyatt” via RCA Records — click here to listen. This latest track brings together the two rappers for the first time ever. The official music video for the single will go live this Friday at 12am ET.

Most recently, Latto dropped the official video for “Chicken Grease (click here to watch) and surprised fans with a limited-edition vinyl drop in celebration of the one-year anniversary of releasing her critically-acclaimed third studio album Sugar Honey Iced Tea.

 

Back in May, Latto kicked off summer with her new single and video “Somebody” (click here to listen), which has been a staple song of this summer. Directed by her sister Brooklyn Nikole, the official visual (click here to watch) shows Latto in Jamaica living her best life during summer vacation and includes a cameo from Popcaan. Recently, Latto wrapped her summer European festival circuit, in addition to her own sold-out London shows.

 

Earlier this year, Latto dropped the alternate version of “Blick Sum” featuring Playboi Carti (click here to listen/click here to watch). She made history with her  studio album her latest album Sugar Honey Iced Tea as the first solo female rapper from Atlanta to ever have a #1 on Billboard’s Top Rap Albums chart, debut or otherwise. The album also earned Big Mama a top 15 spot on the Billboard 200 chart. Overall, she was only the second female rapper in 2024 to have a #1Rap Album debut and Top 15 Billboard 200 debut. To support the album, she went on her first North American Sugar Honey Iced Tea Tour last year with special guests Mariah The Scientist and Karrahboo.
