April 30, 2025 – New York, NY – Columbia Records, a division of Sony Music Entertainment, is proud to announce Barbra Streisand’s highly anticipated next album, The Secret Of Life: Partners, Volume Two,  which will be available everywhere on June 27, 2025 and is available for pre-order on CD, vinyl, and digital now HERE.

For this new collection of duets, Streisand collaborated with a stellar group of contemporary artists to share the microphone on eleven tracks. The album serves as a long-awaited sequel to her 2014, #1 certified Platinum duets collection, Partners.

The album brings together timeless talents, each with their own unique vocal styles – ranging from Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan and James Taylor, to Sting, Hozier, Sam Smith, Seal and Josh Groban. Country star Tim McGraw, and jazz influenced chanteuse Laufey, also lend their unique gifts to their duets, and a powerful all-star trio, featuring Streisand joining forces with Mariah Carey and Ariana Grande are all included on this album.

Streisand says, “I’ve always loved singing duets with gifted artists. They inspire me in unique and different ways…and make our time in the studio a joy! My new album, The Secret Of Life: Partners, Volume Two, gave me the chance to work and play with some of my old friends, label mates, and new artists too. I admire all of them… and I hope that you’ll enjoy listening to our collaborations as much as I enjoyed recording with all of my wonderful partners.”

The first single from the album is “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face” with Hozier, and is available worldwide now on all digital and streaming platforms HERE alongside a lyric video for the song at YouTube HERE.

Hozier says, “Barbra Streisand is one of the most enduring and iconic vocalists of our time, and somebody who defined an era with the sheer force of her voice, her talent, charisma and vision. To be asked to join her on a duet was a huge honour and came as a wonderful and welcome surprise. Ewan MacColl’s ‘The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face’, made famous by the stunning Roberta Flack recording, has always mystified me. It is, to me, one of the most beautiful love songs ever written. Like so many, I was deeply saddened to hear of her recent passing.

Along with the honour I have to sing on this record with Barbra, I hope this duet offers something of a gesture to Roberta Flack’s incredible legacy.”

Streisand has enjoyed a long history of recording duets with artists from all musical genres.  Beginning with her landmark 1963 pairing with the immortal Judy Garland, for the heart-stopping medley, “Get Happy”/“Happy Days Are Here Again” she’s gone on to record beloved duet recordings with Neil Diamond, Barry Gibb, Kris Kristofferson, Donna Summer, Bryan Adams, Celine Dion and many other legends.

The title of the new album, The Secret Of Life: Partners, Volume Two, was in-part, inspired by a photograph taken by Barbra’s daughter-in-law, Kathryn Boyd Brolin, capturing her joyful expression while watching her granddaughters at play.

The album was produced by “Producer of the Year” Grammy-winners, Walter Afanasieff and Peter Asher. Streisand and her longtime time A&R executive Jay Landers are Executive Producers.

Orchestrations for the album were provided by William Ross and David Campbell, recorded at The Streisand Scoring Stage in Culver City, California and with the venerable London Symphony Orchestra at Abbey Road Studios, London.
