Harlem born MC A$AP Rocky, born Rakim Mayers, has taken the music and fashion worlds by storm.  In 2018, he released his highly-anticipated third studio album, TESTING, which has garnered over 1 billion streams worldwide, landing at #1 on the iTunes charts in 16 countries upon release, with “Praise The Lord” achieving platinum status.  The album has been well-received by music critics, as well, with The New York Times calling it [A$AP Rocky’s] most outré album to date, the one least concerned with prevailing trends,” Billboard saying “the Harlemite has been on the cusp of greatness for nearly a decade…his confidence and fearlessness has always been his calling card, and ‘Testing’ is more of him bravely stepping out of the box to try something new,” and Highsnobiety referring to TESTING as “an absolute triumph.”

With two critically acclaimed, #1 debuts on the U.S. Billboard 200 for previous albums, Long. Live.A$AP and At.Long.Last.A$AP and over 5.9 billion streams worldwide, TESTING launches a new era for Rocky, exploring new sounds and ideas in an unparalleled musical landscape where he continues to break the mainstream mindset with sonics rarely heard in hip-hop. Executive produced by A$AP Rocky and co-executive produced by Hector Delgado, Juicy J, Chace Johnson, and AWGE, TESTING was recorded over three years between New York, LA, London and Berlin. This album picks up where Rocky last left off, weaving mind-melting aural psychedelics into hip-hop that is, at times dark and confessional, and in other moments uplifting and celebratory. Rocky is joined on TESTING with features from Juicy J, T.I., Moby, Frank OceanFrench MontanaFKA twigsSkeptaKid Cudi and Kodak Black. Carrying on the legacy of the A$AP Mob co-founder A$AP Yams, Rocky and the A$AP Mob released two mixtapes, 2016’s Cozy Tapes Vol 1: Friends– and 2017’s Cozy Tapes Vol 2: Too Cozy, featuring the hit single “RAF” which has now racked up 208 million streams worldwide.

Rocky has collaborated with many high-profile artists, including G-Eazy’s 3x RIAA Platinum “No Limit” with Cardi B,  Mura Masa’s “Love$ick”, Tyler, The Creator’s “Who Dat Boy”, and songs with Lana del ReyThe WeekndYoung ThugSkeptaJuicy J, Quavo, 30 Seconds to MarsAlicia Keys and more.

The past two years have also seen Rocky’s creative agency AWGE in the spotlight, launching partnerships with Calvin Klein, MTV, GUESSUnder Armour, Courvoisier, Dior, Mercedes Benz and JW Anderson and also launching the careers of new artists such as Playboi Carti, Smooky MarGielaa and more.

London-based artist FKA twigs creates some of the most critically acclaimed, genre-bending work of her generation. Following her debut EP1 and EP2 releases, her debut album LP1 was released in August 2014 via the Young Turks label, followed soon after by a third EP titled M3LL155X. twigs has proved herself to be not only among the most creative recording artists working, but also an exceptional performer and director, leading The Guardian to name her ‘simply the most adventurous popstar working today’.

In addition to directing videos for “Pendulum”, “Glass & Patron”, “M3LL155X”, twigs created, performed and filmed the Soundtrack 7 dance film  on site across 7 days at Manchester International Festival in 2015. twigs has also created and directed campaigns for Nike, and directed, choreographed and soundtracked films for Google Glass and Calvin Klein. Taking a hands-on approach to all of her work, twigs has made and released a large portfolio of multi-disciplinary work highlighting movement as an active channel of self expression. Most recently, she collaborated with Spike Jonze on the much celebrated Apple HomePod campaign, and A$AP Rocky on his Testing album alongside the likes of Juicy J, T.I., Moby, Frank Ocean, French Montana, Skepta, Kid Cudi and Kodak Black.

FKA twigs is currently releasing an Instagram magazine series labelled AVANTgarden; part magic, part-memoir, AVANTgarden is a regular unfiltered 10 “page” Instagram series live on @fkatwigs. Each issue explores twigs’ experiences and exploration of the self and provides a platform for collaboration throughout the worlds of music, art, fashion and beyond, drawing on her extended creative family. This innovation was recognised at the 22nd Annual Webby Awards in 2018 where twigs twigs was honoured with a Webby Special Achievement Award for her “incredible contributions to digital culture and for constantly using the internet to create and distribute experimental new art”.
