Toronto, ON — October 24th, 2025 — EDM DJ and producer Frank Walker returns with his emotionally charged new single “Lay It On Me”, featuring Canadian country sensation Josh Ross and UK soul-pop vocalist Norma Jean Martine. Released via Palm Tree Records, the track is now available on all major streaming platforms HERE.

“Lay It On Me” is a bold fusion of EDM, country, and pop, showcasing Walker’s signature melodic production alongside raw, heartfelt vocals. Recorded in Toronto, the track is produced by Frank Walker, Andrew Polychronopoulos, and Petey Martin.

When I first started this record, I knew it had to be a duet,” says Walker. “The search began from there. Because of the country feel, Josh Ross was an obvious choice. Norma is such a dance music powerhouse and when she cut it we knew she was perfect for it.”

“Lay It On Me” marks the first major single from Walker’s upcoming sophomore album, set for release in 2026. The track continues his mission to revive the Golden Era of EDM through emotional storytelling and genre-defying collaborations. Its organic instrumentation—guitars, pianos, strings—adds intimacy, while the electronic production elements deliver festival-ready energy.

Following his 2024 debut album ORIGIN, Walker has performed at major festivals including Ultra Miami and EDC Las Vegas, and opened for Madonna’s Celebration Tour. With over 500 million global streams, a JUNO Award nomination and multiple SOCAN Dance Music Awards, Walker is poised for another landmark year, including a 2026 album, a tour in Asia, as well as stops at major festivals across North America.

More on Frank Walker

Frank Walker grew up with dance music playing in the background — until it moved to the forefront of his life. Born in Toronto, he fell in love with EDM during its global boom, transforming a casual interest into a passion, then a hobby, and ultimately, a career.

While studying near Toronto, Walker became a staple in the local bar and club scene. His big break came in 2014 when he connected with Kygo’s manager, Myles Shear, who signed him to his roster. Since then, Walker’s dynamic live sets have taken him to major festivals and venues worldwide, including EDC Las Vegas, Ultra Japan, VELD, ÎleSoniq, as well as supporting Kygo on tour in South America and opening for Madonna’s Celebration Tour in Toronto.

In 2023, he played Ultra Miami and earned an EDM Award for his Juno-nominated hit “I Go Dancing” featuring Ella Henderson. His 2024 releases — the euphoric, bittersweet “Missing You” with Nate Smith (Top 10 at Top 40 Radio) and the Lucas Estrada-backed “Bad Town” — continued his signature style: feel-good, high-energy dance music with big vocals.

Following his debut album ORIGIN (May 2024), Walker kicks off a new era with “Lay It On Me,” an emotionally charged collaboration with country star Josh Ross and UK soul-pop vocalist Norma Jean Martine. The track, a bold fusion of EDM, country, and pop, is the first major single from his anticipated sophomore album, set for release in 2026. With over 500 million global streams, multiple SOCAN Dance Music Awards, and charting singles on the Canadian Hot 100 and Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs, Walker continues to craft heartfelt, genre-defying anthems that define the modern electronic landscape.

More on Josh Ross

Josh Ross is a global force: a next-generation talent who’s anything but standard. On an unconventional path of his own design, Ross pairs a dark and mellow blast of modern country with a warm vocal rasp and rock inclinations, heart-on-his-sleeve songwriting and addictive hooks that heed no borders. Pulling from a wide range of musical influences, the former collegiate football player has leveraged his knack for emotional song craft into a series of certified hits.

His dusky power ballad “Trouble” earned RIAA Gold certification, and introduced what would become his 2024 8-song admission, “Complicated,” which earned Ross his first-ever JUNO Award in 2025 for Country Album of the Year. On September 19, Ross doubles down on the emotive, rock-tinged country that has defined his worldwide ascent, releasing his full-length debut album Later Tonight.

Canada-born and Nashville-based, the reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year and winner of the 2024 CMA Jeff Walker Global Country Artist Award tallies over 1 billion streams, touring alongside hard-rocking, cross-genre superstars like Nickelback, Brantley Gilbert, Bailey Zimmerman, and Luke Bryan. He recently wrapped tour support to Jelly Roll on the Beautifully Broken Great Northern Tour across Canada and, will open select dates for Dylan Scott this fall.
