(Toronto, ON – July 11, 2025) – Fast-rising, genre-defying alt/hip-hop duo Joey Valence & Brae officially kick off a brand-new era with the announcement of their highly-anticipated third studio album HYPERYOUTH (out August 15 via RCA Records) alongside the release of the title track and “LIVE RIGHT” which arrive on the heels of their energetic collab with JPEGMAFIA, “WASSUP”. On the two tracks released today, JVB says: “These songs really encapsulate the tone and themes of the new album, but from different perspectives. As eclectic and hard-hitting as ever, HYPERYOUTH has all the hallmarks of the best of JVB, inclusive of Joey’s production (sample-heavy and fully produced in his State College, PA bedroom), while also digging deeper thematically, carrying a message of growing up without getting old that weaves its way throughout the album, a marked evolution for the pair that still marries elements from their early hits and critically acclaimed projects PUNK TACTICS (its title track was just Certified RIAA Gold) and NO HANDS.
The pair have also announced the first dates of their HYPERYOUTH WORLD TOUR, bringing their insane live show (which BBC Radio 1’s Jack Saunders calls “the best live show I’ve been to in years”) to cities throughout North America and the UK this fall. The tour kicks off September 24 in Portland and includes stops in Seattle, San Francisco, Denver, Houston, Austin, Toronto, Philadelphia, New York City, Manchester, Leeds, and London. Pre-sales begin with JVB’s artist pre-sale on July 16th at 10 a.m. local time ahead of the general on-sale beginning July 18th at 10 a.m. local time.
